Avebury Trusloe, Wiltshire #2

June 20, 1999

An aerial shot by Steve Alexander ©1999

This formation in wheat seemed at first to be an inventive development of the pentagram series of last year, made with "bubbles" instead of staight lines. In fact, on closer study, it does not exactly follow pentagram geometry; the arms taper at an angle of less than 36 degrees. However, it does seem to be a stylistic precursor of the Devil's Den hexagram which arrived yesterday, (19th July, I write on the 20th). As soon as a photograph of this extraordinarilly beautiful formation is available it will be posted with a report.
